About Amit
I am currently on a gap year, hoping to study Law from the 2021-2022 academic year. I have achieved all 7s, 8s and 9s at GCSE (a 9 in Maths), and A*AA at A-Level, in Maths, English Literature and History respectively.
I have been able to tutor many peers throughout my educational career, whether that be peer-mentoring Year 12 students studying Mathematics as a Year 13 or academically engaging younger students at my local primary school.

I can teach Maths up to and including A-Level standard. What each session consists of purely relies on the specific needs of the student: it could be consolidating more of the course content, or perhaps offering more practical revision advice in preparation for mock or final exams.
Every lesson will begin with an exercise to review the topics from the last. I believe that it is necessary for the student to feel as comfortable as possible with the material already covered, before progressing through the specification.
After this, the lesson is mostly divided into two stages: theory and practice. I truly believe that the best way for a student to understand Mathematics at any level is through application of the concepts, and by going through the syllabus bit-by-bit, it raises the chance for the student to feel at ease on both the overarching concepts but also the more challenging problems that may arise in the exam.
