About Shannon
I have dedicated my career to the craft of teaching and still work part-time in the classroom. I'm also currently mentoring postgraduate and undergraduate teaching students, trying to give back to the profession that has given so much to me. I work from a strengths-based approach, developing an understanding of my students' needs as I get to know their interests. I will tailor lessons to specific areas that need targeting, as recommended by your child's classroom teacher or within reports. Lessons can range from 30 - 60 minutes depending on age of child. I will work with students from 5 - 15 years of age.
