About Barry
I am presently teaching in a DÉIS 2 school and have been for the last 11 years with experience of a wide variety of class groups. In my past 3 years, I have worked as a special education teacher and have signifcant experience of engaging with different learning styles and abilities.
I am registered with the Teaching Council and have current Garda vetting.
I qualified from Mary Immaculate College Limerick with a combined B.Ed and B.A. in Psychology (first-class honours). I have extensive experience of helping children with challenging behaviour, dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD.
I am also involved in training a local underage GAA team and have a great understanding of childrens' motivations, aspirations and capabilities.
