I am a full-time singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and artist. Songs of mine have been played on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and often on rotations on EU national radio stations. I've performed at SXSW, Primavera and Glastonbury Festivals previously and I've had articles and reviews about me and my music in the New York Times, Rolling Stone, The Independent etc. In particular I have plenty of experience with co-writes having written with Mercury Prize nominee Kathryn Williams and members of the Magic Numbers.

Plus I am a professional keys, bass and guitar player so I can confidently accompany any writing lessons and sessions.
I offer songwriting and arranging lessons and sessions in-person and online. I can teach you the basics of songwriting, helping you to express yourself within the rules and constraints of genre and style and also how to break these rules to find your own idiosyncratic voice!
If you have some of the basics of songwriting down already and are looking at refining your craft, we can also use the time to work on songs together as a creative and collaborative process. I can be your editor and mentor and guide you through the creation and completion of a song, bouncing ideas back and forth and bringing my 30+ years of experience to our time together.
