About Zoe
Having graduated with a History MA earlier this year, I now work for a journalism training school and want to help students reach their full potential in my spare time!
I believe in the importance of giving students the tools they need to believe in their own ability. I am friendly and engaging, and have extensive experience in tutoring. My experience means that I can adapt my teaching to suit a range of different ages and abilities:
- News Associates journalism training school (current) - organise and run workshops for sixth form students and university students (ages 16+)
- Peru volunteering (2018) - taught English, Maths and Music at an after-school centre for disadvantaged kids (ages 3-14)
- Peer mentoring (2016-2018) - helped first-year History university students with their exam revision and coursework (ages 18+)
- Maths mentor (2014-2015) - tutored GCSE Maths students while completing my A-levels (ages 14-16)
- Young Leader at Girlguiding Brownies (2013-2015) - led educational activities and games for girls (ages 7-10)
