About Maggie

Hi! I'm an undergraduate at the University of Leeds studying Global Development, and I have a strong interest in Psychology. I studied Psychology at both GCSE and A-Level, and I'm currently also taking Forensic Psychology as a university discovery module.

Having had a tutor myself during my A-Levels, I know how much of a difference having someone explain things in a different way can make. This is one of the reasons I wanted to start tutoring and help other students feel more confident in their subjects.

I'm particularly interested in supporting students who feel unsure about Psychology or don't know how to approach revision and exam questions. I want my lessons to be a relaxed, supportive space where you can ask questions without feeling embarrassed. I'll work with you to identify what you're struggling with and break it down into manageable steps.

About the class

Having studied psychology at both GCSE and A-Level, I understand the challenges that come with remembering key studies, theories and terminology. I can help break down difficult topics into simpler explanations, and show how to apply this in exams.

Sessions can include breaking down difficult psychological concepts, revising key content, practising exam questions and improving how you apply your knowledge to different scenarios. I can also help you identify areas you're less confident with and work through them step by step.

I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can ask questions without feeling embarrassed. My goal is not just to help you learn the content, but to help you become more confident in using it independently.
