About Amelie
Hi! I’m a recent A-level graduate with a passion for creativity and design. I studied Product Design at A-level and I’m preparing to study Product Design at university next year. I enjoy helping students understand ideas clearly and build confidence in their work. I absolutely love Design and Technology and want students to share this passion, it is such a unique subject as it focuses on creativity and theory. Having recently completed the course myself, I know what students find challenging and can explain topics in a simple, relatable way. I’m friendly, patient, and organised, and I aim to make lessons supportive, positive, and motivating. My goal is to help students feel capable, proud of their progress, and excited about their design projects.

My lessons are friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I mainly teach GCSE and KS3 Design and Technology online, helping students improve their understanding of design processes, materials, sustainability. Typical lessons will last 60 minutes, but I can adapt the length depending on the student’s project, focus area, or attention span. Each session is personalised — we can focus on coursework planning, theory topics, problem-solving, or exam preparation. I achieved three A-levels, including Product Design, and I’m preparing to study Product Design at university next year. Having recently completed the course myself, I understand the challenges students face and how to approach tasks successfully. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and clear. I break topics down into simple steps and provide examples so students can apply what they learn with confidence. My goal is to make lessons engaging and to help students feel capable and proud of their progress.
