I am a dedicated and approachable tutor with a strong passion for helping children build confidence in their learning. I offer engaging and supportive online English lessons for primary school children, focusing on building confidence as well as improving key skills in reading, spelling and test preparation.
My teaching approach is patient, structured and adapted to each child’s individual needs. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit their pace and learning style. I use a mix of guided reading, interactive activities and repetition techniques to help students strengthen their understanding while keeping lessons enjoyable and motivating.
For reading, I focus on comprehension, fluency and helping students feel confident when reading aloud. For spelling, I use proven techniques such as breaking words into patterns, repetition and memory strategies. When preparing for tests such as SATs, I work on exam-style questions, time management and reducing anxiety so students feel more prepared and capable.
Lessons are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour long, allowing enough time to cover key material while maintaining focus and energy. I ensure each session has a clear goal and ends with a sense of progress.
My lessons are ideal for primary school students of all abilities, whether they need extra support, want to improve their confidence, or are preparing for upcoming assessments.
