About Ellie
Hi, I'm Ellie. I am a friendly and enthusiastic final year student studying Biology at Imperial College London. I aim to help students through a variety of techniques appropriate to their individual learning style, and try to ensure understanding of subject matter as I believe this really aids success instead of pure memorisation! I understand that for some students the main difficulty is confidence, and as a patient and supportive tutor I intend to encourage this by helping students realise their abilities. Recognising that every student has their own strengths and areas they struggle with, I have an adaptive and flexible approach to helping and working with each student, through whatever means they may need help, such as with homework, coursework, exam technique or essay writing, for example.
As a Young Leader with Girl Guiding, I have experience working with young people and am able to work well with people of all ages.
I personally have done well in education, gaining 9A* and 1A in GCSE, and 3A's in A Levels (Maths, Biology and Geography).
