About Cameron
I'm a professional trombonist and tubist based in Chicago, having moved here to pursue graduate studies at DePaul University. I've worked in a variety of styles, including solo, chamber, and orchestral music, as well as jazz, rock, musicals, and more. As a teacher, I've worked with students of all ages, and had students audition and earn places in honor bands and university music programs. One of my greatest passions is working with my students to find creative ways to solve their biggest problems in a way that will work for them. My approach emphasizes building a solid foundation of musical knowledge, whatever the style. That said, my commitment is to working with each individual student to meet their unique goals and aspirations, be it performing, composition, or even just listening with greater enjoyment! I have experience teaching students of all ages and experience levels, from absolute beginners to adults with decades of playing music under their belt, and I feel confident that I can teach any styles - from classical to jazz to rock or pop.

I always found him to be talented, professional, well-prepared, friendly, and easy to work with. He has had many students as well, so he does a great job at teaching, too. Highly recommended.
