About Franz Carlo
In the past, I tutored Math and English, supporting students in both foundational skills and advanced topics. I also worked with younger learners, introducing them to basic rocketry and UAV concepts in a hands-on, age-appropriate way. To gauge their progress, I monitored improvements in their scores, assessed their ability to solve problems independently, and looked for growth in their confidence and participation during sessions. This class is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in both mathematics and core engineering subjects. We will cover Pre-Calculus, Calculus I & II, and Differential Calculus, alongside essential engineering topics such as Statics of Rigid Bodies, Physics, and Thermodynamics. Students will also be introduced to Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and fundamental programming skills relevant to engineering. Classes will be interactive and engaging. I will share my screen to present concepts clearly, use a tablet to solve problems live, and provide custom modules and reading materials. Participation is highly encouraged, and I create a welcoming environment where students feel confident to ask questions and share their thoughts. Progress will be assessed through seatworks, quizzes, and tests, all designed to support learning in a fun, collaborative way.
