About Michael
I was a small business owner before becoming an owner of my first e-commerce (which I utterly failed.) I owned a couple small brick and mortar companies before taking coding more seriously, building a couple full stack applications for my portfolio, and ultimately landing a job at a Fortune 500 company whereI was able to really hone in my skill set. I was very fortunate to have good mentors here who really helped me to integrate with various industry technologies, all of which mostly deployed and integrated with Javascript. This is whereI really developed dexterity with the language itself. I have a vast amount of experience and have put in a good effort to integrate all of that into the progressional and teacher that I am. I don't only hope to make you successful in the art of Javascript, but I hope to also give you the insights and tools to do well in the various industries and jobs that deploy javascript as a tool. I taught myself how to code quite a few years ago before landing a job at a Fortune 500 company. Before this, I thought coding was complicated and above my head. I was extremely intimidated by it at first. It was here that I discovered what programming is all about, communicating in the most articulate fashion expectations and wants. Programming isn't exactly a "science" as much as it is a conversation. a conversation between you and other dependencies, a conversation between you and other engineers, and easiest of them all, a conversation between you and the computer. Knowing the basis for this dialogue is what makes coding easy. What I seek to do is to help you integrate with the language and conversation of coding. we can do this in many ways, but building projects is what I have found is the best approach. Having been someone who has taught myself from the ground up, I know what this process looks like intimately and am excited to pass this information down to you!
