About Ashwin
Swimming is something that has given me my identity and helped me discover my hidden potential. From being an average swimmer who swam barely 25 metres to a national-level open sea swimmer responsible for swimming 10 km, the journey has taught me a lot about my failures and successes and what it takes to be a sportsperson.
Teaching swimming is a passion for me and I believe this is my way of giving back to this field. Like any other skill, swimming is a must-have skill in today's world. I am sure that you always want to enjoy to the full extent in swimming pools and be fearless when it comes to water sports. But just because you don't know swimming, you end up fearing water and not enjoying it completely. And this is what excites me to teach swimming.
For me, swimming isn't just about going from one end to the other, but rather being confident in yourself and your swimming abilities.
I believe, it is my obligation to pass on this incredible capability to others who need it the most and ease their fears when it comes to swimming.

Swimming doesn't just mean going from one end of the swimming pool to the other with random movements. Real, efficient swimming is about learning the right technique, breathing properly, maintaining streamlined body position and most importantly, feeling comfortable, confident and safe wherever you swim. That's exactly what I teach.
What you will learn when you join my swimming coaching sessions:
-Why swimming correctly matters more than you can imagine and get rid of myths that stop most people from even trying.
-What you should never do in swimming pool water and beachside water.
- Most effective breathing methods that help you swim longer (and faster).
- How to float and glide- a technique that relaxes your body and speeds up the learning process.
- Powerful kicking that propels you ahead in water instead of keeping you stuck in the same place.
- Correct arm movements that help you stretch and cover maximum distance in water with least effort.
- Most important, by the end, you'll will have developed a renewed sense of confidence of swimming in any pool or beach waters.
These sessions are flexible and customized according to the body type of the individual and his emotional connection with the water.
I specialize in teaching swimming to individuals (male and female both) between the age group of 15-45 years. Additionally, you can also contact me if you are looking to train for open water competitions.
