About Coillte
I am in my final year of my degree here in Galway. My course has driven me up the wall at times but it has really illustrated how beautiful the world can be when viewed through the lens of academia. No matter what you look at you could go down a rabbit hole of information that just never stops.
Through my experience with tutoring in the past I realised how much happiness you can bring someone when it finally clicks and they get a glimpse of that world. That confidence that you can handle any problem in front of you in the academic world in invaluable.
I am currently saving to do my masters in Sweden in Environmental Forensics, unhindered I may even keep driving on to a PHD, but that is many years in the future yet.

I offer Junior and Leaving Certificate study classes for all science subjects, Maths and Geography. I am also willing to provide classes for first year student doing common science and second year students studying Forensic science.
Sessions must consist of a minimum of 45 mins. Recommended two hours with a small break to maximise attention to study time value.
I have extensive experience tutoring, starting with family then volunteering multiple times for PASS or peer assisted study sessions. This program sought volunteers from 2nd and 3rd year of their respective courses to tutor first year students. This involved organising study plans, and helping accustom them to resources available in the university.
I am a lover of learning but I understand academia is not for everyone. I myself have struggled with lecturers reading off a hundred slides all in black and white and the appeal of tax code. Unfortunately that's life sometimes in education. However I will do my best to approach every topic trying to give you the skills to make the most out of your classes and understand the links that teachers often forget to connect for you in their rush to get the curriculum done. I can also bring real world examples for all subject I teach.
