About Cristina
I am a film director and educator with over eight years of university-level teaching experience, including four years as Academic Director of a Master’s Program in Art Direction for Film. My academic background includes three master’s degrees in Film Directing, Cinematography, and Research in Contemporary Culture (Humanities), which inform both my creative practice and my teaching approach.
Alongside my academic work, I have designed and built sets for several audiovisual productions and developed my own film projects within professional and festival contexts. This combination of theoretical depth and hands-on experience allows me to mentor students with both conceptual rigor and practical insight.
I believe in structured, thoughtful development. My sessions are supportive but demanding spaces where we work carefully on clarity, visual coherence, narrative strength, and professional positioning. I help students not only improve their work, but also understand why it works.
