About Karen
Hey there!
I'm Karen, a country girl who ended up in fashion and with a knack for teaching. I grew up surrounded by nature, taking inspiration from the countryside which fueled my love for fabrics and design, especially textiles!
After diving into a Level 5 textiles and fashion portfolio course in Dublin, I took the plunge into art college. I then got offered every college I applied to! Landed at the Limerick School of Art and Design for a wild four-year ride in fashion design, and I hustled hard enough to bag a First-Class Honours degree. Yep, one of the three who got a 1:1 in a class of twenty!
Presently, I've started on a new path as an English teacher living in Spain. However, my love for fashion remains steadfast. It's this unique crossover of passions that led me to blend both worlds, offering specialized fashion design portfolio classes.
While I immerse myself in the teaching realm, I still indulge my love for fashion styling on the side. Join me on this exciting journey as I combine my expertise, experiences, and passions to help you craft your path into the world of fashion design!
