About Ivy
I am a professional Flute tutor with over 11 years of teaching experience. I teach School students, College students, and working professionals who want to learn flute for academics, personal interest, or professional development. I enjoy working with students of different age groups and skill levels.
My teaching approach is structured, patient, and student-focused. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as correct breathing techniques, posture, finger coordination, tone development, and rhythm accuracy. I believe a strong foundation helps students progress confidently.
Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, scale practice, ear training, and performance basics. These subjects help students understand music better and improve overall performance. I also help students prepare for exams and performances.
One of my unique strengths is my ability to explain concepts clearly using simple language. I provide regular feedback, structured practice routines, and encouragement. My goal is to help students enjoy learning flute and grow musically.
