Experienced tutor in Spanish in Westchester, Adela offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Adela is enthusiastic about what she teaches and cares deeply about her students. She goes above and beyond to ensure that her students are engaged and that the lessons relate both to the student's life and their learning style. When working with Adela, she quickly establishes a safe space to mess up and explore language learning. Because of this, I feel confident in trying to speak, even if I mess up. Due to her approach and respect for her students, I always feel encouraged; she inspires me to go above and beyond as a student.

I have been studying Spanish with Adela for 2 years. She is an excellent teacher and I have made significant progress under her guidance. She is very good at determining where I am on the learning curve and what areas I should focus on. I like the way she combines multiple ways of learning – textbooks, novels, and most importantly, basic conversation. That gives me a wide range of options to work with and has helped me improve.

Adela makes our lessons fun but also productive. I enjoy our lessons and look forward to continuing my studies with her.

Ella es una maestra profesional y excellente. Sus lecciones valen la pena!

Adela is one of the best Spanish Instructor I have had. Her class was well structured and she helped to clarify the complex grammar I was leaning. Additionally, she did a great job of integrating and recommending Spanish music, tv, and books as homework assignments, which were more exciting and engaging than typical workbook exercises.
