Experienced tutor in Spanish in Union City, Luz offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Luz has done written transcriptions and live translations for our organization for over 10 years, from english into spanish. She’s a skilled translator, and does extremely well with colloquialisms which are often the trickiest part of translating. I highly recommend her.

I was skeptical at first as learning another language is usually a struggle for me but I figured why not give it a try. I've tried the different versions of audio lessons and spending money on small classes here and there but nothing really worked. But then I found Luzita's class and something amazing happened. She teaches at an easy and simple pace so I can understand. She talks about herself being so connected to her family and life along with her goals and I can sense that all in her classes. She is very nice and kind and demonstrates such a professional matter and works very well with each person. If you are like me and wish to find a passion or interest in learning spanish, Luzita's class is the class for you.

She is an excellent translator. She understands the spirit of what’s being said. She also has an amazing work ethic. I highly recommend her for translation work.

I've not taken class with Luzita but I have used her translating services. From text or email messages to larger documents like applications or even sermon notes, Luz has always delivered great translations using appropriate Spanish phrasing and grammar. She is also FAST! I've often needed translations on the spot, and she's always delivered a most timely manner.

What I really appreciate about Ms. Mendoza is that she has a way of making students feel they are important as their learning experience/education is important. She's patient and is always available to respond to all my questions. Glad to be taking Spanish from her.

Her patience, quick response and attention to detail. Great translator and communicator. Excellent attitude!
