I love the platform of LanguageConvo! Each time we meet with our instructor, the notes that were in the chat from our previous session show up in the chat each time. This allows to review our notes from all our previous sessions and build upon and review what were learning. It is also easy to purchase and book sessions on their websites. I also really enjoy using the Easy Listening section of the website.

I speak at the high intermediate level, and my teacher customizes my lessons as I have requested, which is to mostly practice speaking Spanish and then have her correct me as seems appropriate.

Really relaxed way to learn at a great price. My tutor (Luz) is excellent and I have been amazed how much i have learnt after just a few lessons. The way to get the most out of these lessons is not to be afraid to say "I don't understand" or "I don't know" and to not to do too much too quickly. Work at your pace. It is not a race. This platform has truly been fantastic, both in affordability as well as flexibility and convenience. I don't have any formal years of study in school but have purchased various programs (Rosetta Stone, Pimsleur, DuoLingo Plus, and private tutors) and have found those to be kind of a waste as the most effective way for me to learn Spanish is to use it and talk to native speakers. This site gives a combination of not only being taught by a teacher but being able to talk to a native speaker. If you are in the market to learn a language, try not to waste too much money using the learn on your own programs, all of these things can only supplement language learning. You really don't have much to lose in doing the free trial. I'm honestly so happy I found an affordable and flexible tutor program that is helping me improve my language skills.

I just really enjoyed my lesson, She was very understanding and worked with me on what I knew and didn't and we just dove right in and I learned a lot for half an hour. I bought 2 more hours, I love that its affordable and its kind of a pay as you go kind of thing and you can work with different tutors if you want and nobody would be offended. I have been learning Spanish with Luz Wildt at LanguageConvo for several years. Earlier, I tried other methods with less success and at greater cost. In my opinion, LanguageConvo is the next best thing to full immersion in a foreign country. When you finally do visit that country, your experience will be much more complete and satisfying because of your online language learning with LanguageConvo.

I have been taking lessons for about a year and a half and I can honestly say that I'm more confident with my conversational Spanish than I would have ever expected. I've tried Rosetta Stone but the program wasn't intuitive enough, it also wouldn't advance me because I couldn't trill my "r's"; I've done Duo Lingo, it was okay for vocab and a few phrases here and there.. Either way, I had to conform to their curriculums, not the other way around. With LC there's a curriculum to guide you but you can create your own curriculum if you want.

LanguageConvo is awesome! It really is the best method and company for learning a language. Why? First, their teachers are all experienced, friendly and happy to teach you their native language. You get the feeling they're just as happy to teach you as you (hopefully) are to learn. Most importantly though, face to face lessons with native speakers are as close to immersion that you're going to get AND the lessons are personalized to your desires, needs and needs.

Really like the program

I’ve only had two lessons so far, but I really like my Spanish teacher. He has a nice sense of humor, which i appreciate. I’m using these lessons more like practice sessions as I’m primarily using Rosetta Stone to actually learn. For $15 bucks a week, I can have 2 half hour lessons...you can’t beat that price. My teacher isn’t super fluent in English and we speak primarily Spanish, which is completely fine for me coming in at an intermediate level. Not sure how a complete beginner would fair, but it serves my purpose. I purchased 5 more hours this week.

The only slight disappointment was that due to her schedule being full, I was not able to schedule regular lessons with her so I am currently scheduling lessons with some other teachers to find a March!
