About Fabienne
I am an experienced educator with a specialization in singing and vocal performance. As a seasoned performer, with over 25 years of experience , I bring a wealth of practical knowledge to my teaching practice.
The technique I teach can be applied for any genre of music, its based loosely on the Juillard Curriculum.
I am currently the lead singer of award winning rock band, NEVERWONDER
( Nashville music awards and LA Music critic awards winners) and I also sing in a cover Jazz duo, called The Fixtures Duo.
I am a graduate of Musician Institute in vocal technique and performance. I have also studied vocal technique and pedagogy under the tutelage of renowned vocal coach Dr. Joel Ewing ( Journey, The Eagles, Seal). The method I teach is based on the studies of H. Ceasari and V. Reid and can be used for any genre of music. I teach students from beginners to advanced age 12 years onward.
I design lessons around the needs and goals of my students and will help you find your true voice as well as develop your performance skills.
My primary goal is to help my students unlock their full vocal potential and overcome any issues that may be hindering their progress.
I focus on proper technique and balancing the muscle systems responsible for the singing voice, for a lifetime of singing free of injuries.
Whether you're looking to refine your technique, work through specific vocal challenges or simply want to learn how to sing, I am dedicated to helping you achieve your musical goals and cultivate a lifelong passion for singing.

I speak fluent English and French, and have knowledge of Spanish.
Through the years, I have been approached many times by fellow musicians and music teachers who wanted to know how I was achieving my sound and also if I could help them with their vocal technique. That's when I realized I could make a difference in teaching and passing along my expertise.
I have over 25 years of experience in singing and vocal pedagogy. I graduated from ETM in Geneva, Switzerland in vocal technique in 1991. I graduated from Musicians Institute in vocal technique and songwriting 1994. And I also have been studying with Dr.Joel Ewing (Juillard School and vocal coach to Steve Perry, Seal, the Eagles etc..) for the last 20 years in vocal technique and vocal pedagogy.

First thing, we will have a quick discussion to see what you want to achieve with your lessons and see if you have any previous singing experience. Then I will evaluate and design a course around your needs.
Beginner singers. Songwriters who want to improve their singing. Professional vocalists that are having issues with their voice or have reached a plateau.

I believe you have to know an instrument well to be able to teach it.
I am working currently with a vocalist that is also going to M.I. She felt like she was stagnating, and was having issues with her voice especially when she was getting in her higher register. So she started working with me, and within a few weeks of training and doing the excercices I gave her to do, she saw a big difference. Her teacher at M.I even asked her what she was doing different because her voice had improved so much within a short period of time.

Perfect! I am an actress trying to expand my resume and Fabienne has been such a great instructor for me. I have not had vocal lessons before and I was very nervous but she is building my confidence every lesson. She is teaching me all the fundamentals to have a strong controlled beautiful voice.

Last year, I joined a tribute band as one of three backing vocalist. We had very little experience, and quickly realized that we needed guidance. Finding a vocal instructor that was willing to work individually with three, middle aged, backing vocalist was not going to be easy. After a little research, we discovered Fabienne, and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Surprisingly, after working with her, I have been able to sing much lower notes than before and with strength as well!
Her attention to detail has also helped me become more artistic in my singing. It has been a longer and tougher process in acquiring this skill, but worthwhile.
