About Emily
Hello there! My name is Emily Goulazian. I am a classically trained vocalist of 12+ years who has worked my way into the world of musical theatre, pop, rock, folk, and more. I have my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Rider University and have been working professionally as a Singer/Actress/Musician in New York, around the US, and overseas in Mediterranean and Caribbean countries. I specialize in musical theatre styles as well as classical, contemporary, and pop/rock. I will create a lesson plan catered to your particular voice, style, and needs. I work on expanding the range, adopting healthy habits, and finding your personality as a performer. In addition to singing lessons, I coach auditions and songs. If you have a song you would like feedback on, bring it to the lesson and we will work together to put on a killer performance!
I have my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Rider University. Additionally, I have trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City and have worked with the Yale School of Drama on various acting techniques. I have trained classically and in musical theatre for 12+ years. I have traveled overseas as a singer and pianist, singing all genres and decades of music ranging from the 50s until today. I have performed as a professional actress, singer and musician in New York City, the United States and countries in the Mediterranean and Caribbean.

We will meet to discuss your needs, interests, and do a quick vocal warm up to learn more about your voice type. From there, we will move forward with a lesson plan catered to you. If you have any songs or performances you would like to work on, we will look at those as well. Always come prepared with a song or two to sing, with a YouTube karaoke track playing if possible.
