To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to take this opportunity to highly recommend Dr. Dennis Northway for Ministry of Music positions in your area. I base my opinion on the almost ten years I have been privileged to know Dr. Northway, in his capacities as choral director, superb organist, and highly effective musical educator.

Having sung for several years in the annual Handel Week chorus directed by Dr. Northway, at Grace Episcopal Church in Oak Park, I can attest to his meticulous attention to detail, to period appropriate renditions of the master composers’ vocal and orchestral works, and to the enjoyment he imparts in singers when teaching us to present this beautiful music to our audiences.

Dr. Northway is known throughout the Chicagoland area as an accomplished organist, builder of organs, and musical composer. He is cherished and appreciated by his childrens’ and adult choruses, ranging in age from preschool to older adults. He is highly esteemed by singers and church members alike, and in my opinion truly embodies the highest Christian qualities of respect and concern for his fellow human beings. Your congregation’s musical experience would be well served by hiring Dr. Northway as your musical director, and it is my pleasure to recommend him for such a position.

Cordially,
Kathleen Morris
