About Tommy
Tommy is a certified yoga teacher and has over 30 years of coaching experience in many sports including being a head high school coach in wrestling, track & field and soccer, but has also worked with many non-athletes. Tommy has been doing this while competing as a world level freestyle athlete and coaching many freestyle athletes along the way. Tommy is the producer of the USA Freestyle tour of water sports and was a 7 year member of the Sea World water ski team and stunt team.
I've developed a program called Roller Yoga that combine breathing, stretching, core and fascial release. The program can be adapted for PD (Parkinson's), ADHD, Autism and additional issues. I have experience working with neuromuscular adaptation especially Parkinson and Autism. I use boxing/wrestling movement and glove training to burn calories and devleop hand-eye coordination.
Roller Yoga can be offered as a one-on-one or group class either online, in-home, In-office, or corporate wellness training. The program incorporates stretching, breathing, resistance training and a form of myofascial release with soft rollers and bands. My training method is to create strong, balanced, flexible-pliable muscles that will reduce future injuries, current aches & pains, and elevate stress levels.
I'm a veteran athletic coach, life coach and wellness trainer who produces and performs in live action extreme sports events at the age of 56 - so I understand aging and nutrition! Tommy has appeared on all three Detroit area news stations many times plus a host of other media related events. My high school coaching background includes head coaching cross country, soccer, wrestling and track and field.
Over my coaching years, I've changed so many lives and I look forward to helping you reach your goals and put you in the right direction. Some of the benefits I've seen over the years include; Sounder sleep, higher levels of energy, stress reduction, better hormone balance, positive outlook and living longer.
