About Sandie
I am very intuitive and can really sense how people are feeling, what worries they may have and what's holding them back. Because of this I am very sensitive to an individual's needs and can help them get through barriers. I completely share in the celebration when my client's success turns into tears of joy!
From honing skills for National competitors through helping casual riders build confidence to helping children and adults with special needs and challenges, there is no challenge too monumental to overcome. Regardless of where you begin I will get you noticeable results from the first session.

I offer personalized sessions tailored to the needs of the individual riders' skills and goals with attention to overcoming fears and gaining confidence. I teach basic learn to ride through bike safety and handling skills for all ages and levels including special needs.
I make adaptions where needed so everyone can be successful.
For my higher level clients I can offer full training plans and simulated races and can include open water access and training for my triathletes.
I have worked with beginner riders to athletes competing in national championships, Ironman finishers and even Paralympic hopefuls on the cusp of qualifying for Team USA at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. I have volunteered as head coach for Helen's Angels Paracycling team, a chapter of Disabled Sport USA. I volunteer as a coach and mechanic for Wounded Warriors through Project Hero cycling challenges and served as advisor and cycling coach for WrestlingMS's national cycling team.
Adaptive and personalized sport and special needs are welcome.
Ask enough questions to ensure the proper fit and flexibility for you. The most popular coach who gives out cookie cutter plans and advice probably won't have the time or skills to make sure you are achieving your best possible results.
From a 3 milke ride with a special needs client to a 180 mile ride with a seasoned rider, every day on a bike is a great day!

Perfect! The best online connection to a real person. Sandie taught my 2 kids (who have completely different personalities) the mechanics of bike riding. She gave them confidence. She set up an obstacle track and also took us on paths. Sandie even brings an extra bike for me. She’s very competent and reliable. I can’t say enough. Worth every penny - which is a little expensive- but not as costly as the previous “biking lesson expert” who can’t compare. Sandie’s lessons are so experience packed. She puts her all in. She’s simply the best. Thank you to this website !
Perfect! My grandson who is 12 was having a very hard time learning to ride a bike. He had a fear of falling along with a balance problem. Sandy was very patient and worked with him constantly encouraging Pat. I didn’t think that he would over come his problems. But with Sandy’s professional expertise he improved every time he had a lesson. Now Pat can ride his bike without any problems and really enjoys to ride with his friends. Without Sandy’s help I don’t think it could be done. Thank you Able Cycling for a great job.

Sandie is magical❤️💕Intuitive🌈and just plain awesome. My son was terrified of his bike. He was so anxious...the whole time we were driving to his bike lesson, he kept saying: “I don’t want to do this! I don’t want to do this!” Not only did he ride on his own for a bit - which was nothing short of amazing- he said: “Mom that was wonderful!” We love Sandie❤️
Sandie is the kind of instructor I want to teach my granddaughter to ride a bike! She is funny, warm, kind, patient, flexible, gentle and ENCOURAGING.
She doesn’t rush them (mine is afraid to ride) and gives them the time they need to feel comfortable to do what she asks them to do.
At the end of her first lesson she gave Sandie 10 hugs good-bye ( she doesn’t give everyone hugs). So I know this is a good fit.

I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with Sandie. I was amazed at how quickly she figured out the best way to teach our son to ride a bike. She figured him out immediately and taught him the way he needed to learn. In a few lessons he was proudly riding around. Thank you Sandie!!!
Sandy was an excellent resource for our Cub Scout bicycle safety rodeo. She was very thorough, yet delivered the message in a style that kept 25 7-10 year old boys engaged. She came the event prepared and on-time and I would highly recommend her for other events or one on one training.
My son got a lesson yesterday and magically he was able to ride on his own! Coach Sandie is wonderful working with kids. I highly recommend her!!
