About Emily d
I believe the first and most important thing to teach my clients is how to BELIEVE in themselves. How to EMBRACE change and new challenges in their life . How it's important to take ACTION in order to be able to RISE up above everything else.
How you look on the outside begins with how you feel about yourself on the inside .
I've always been the "Tomboy" or the "sporty girl", the girl who actually looks forward to gym class . The AllStar track sprinter.
So to say the least I've been active my whole life. Helping others has always been second nature to me and while it took me a while to realize how my passion for a healthy lifestyle and my need to help can be used to help others achieve their goals, I’ve reinvented my idea of Fitness and wellness and I dedicate my life to this . Your goals become my goals, and I will be coaching you through every step until you achieve them.
I have began my study of Athletic Training and Exercise Science in 2012 at William Paterson university, and while I chose not to finish , I continued to pursue my dreams and went on to become a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM- one of the worlds most highly accredited program . I am CPR and AED certified and currently pursuing my next specialization in Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement . I also have a background in studying sports nutrition.

The typical process would be first to establish their needs and goals. They would need to complete various fitness assessments to test their overall fitness level, as well as answer a PAR-Q. It's important I get to know the student as much as possible as far their job, hobbies, social life etc. the more I know the better I can best create a program best suited for their needs .
I have worked with students with weight loss goals, strength building goals, prenatal/ postnatal students. Students with previous injury and most recently Covid recovery students.
My advise is to find a teacher who is truly dedicated .
A recent event I am most fond of is creating a "Tots who squat" fitness class to empower parents and children to stay active in their busy schedules.
