About Charity
I love doing and teaching yoga. But not all yoga classes and styles meet all needs. For those looking for something that embraces all aspects of fitness, from cardio to strength to stretching and mobility, as well as that yogic center, my yoga flows do just that.
I have been teaching yoga for the past 3 years and a personal trainer for 8 years. Most of us don't have time to get in our cardio, strength, and flexbility in separate sessions everyday unless we want to live at the gym. My yoga classes are designed to combine all aspects of fitness and personal wellness, along with the grounded and centering of a traditional yoga class.
I love teaching yoga because of its emphasis on self-acceptance and self-care. So much of our self-image centers around unrealistic expectations about what a body should look like or feel like, as though all of us are the same. Every body is as different beautiful and each human heart, and everyone has different needs. Yoga meets us all at our place of need but also teaches us to love and appreciate everything that we already are. Yoga is a transformative practice for the body and mind, but it should also be fun. Personally, I enjoy heavy metal in my yoga practice. It speaks to me and I can access my deepest and most profound self. Yoga is about falling and getting up, laughing, playing, and doing what makes you feel good about you. I am RYT - 200 yoga teacher, certified through the Yoga Alliance, as well as an ACE certified personal trainer.

For working with new students, I like to find out a little bit of their history, as well as their goals. Some students come to me with a wellness routine already in place and some are completely new to exercise and mindfulness. Some have significant injuries or concerns. I meet my clients at their point of need and comfort. We discuss their expectations and goals, likes and dislikes, and I tailor classes to help them have the most fulfilling experience for their journey.
