About April
Painting is an extension of my photography. I figured if I can see it, snap a picture of it I should be able to paint it. I've only been painting for a couple years now.
I love painting seascapes. Add a beach, a sailboat, a palm tree, a lighthouse, a sunrise or sunset and there you have it. Love making it colorful! Just like God has created it in real life.
Teaching someone to paint is a fun experience. It isn't something that is a yes or no, black or white, everyone has their own style and that's what fun. Seeing what develops is an awesome journey.

Talking and getting to know my student first. Finding out their likes and dislikes, their desires to learn about painting. Helping them to relax but also build their confidence. Then I just start with basic painting skills.
