Kate is entertaining and engaging. She is also incredibly patient and goes slowly so that even the most novice painter can keep up. She’s encouraging and provides praise and helpful suggestions throughout the class. Even if a large class you feel personally taught to. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Kate brings so much joy to every class. Her vibrant teaching style makes it easy to stay engaged; jokes abound between the group as Kate guides and encourages painters in every step of process. She seamlessly breaks potentially complicated undertakings into smaller, manageable exercises in painting and fun! Kate's classes bring so much light to the universe! You should for sure take all of them!

The experiences every time are just so wonderful and fun!! Plus it’s a safe way to get to meet new people and I started out not being able to draw a stick figure but now, I can actually hang my paintings because I’m proud of them!!

I have had the pleasure of being one of Kate’s students both virtually and in person over the last several years. It’s AMAZING how well her teaching style translates into an online learning environment without ever leaving you feeling like you’re getting less attention, guidance or encouragement than if you were there in person. I have learned so much taking classes through Kate and Paint the town RAD, and even as my skill level increases, there is still so much I learn every time I attend a class.

Kate was fantastic with the kids on the zoom. She sent all the needed materials and was so entertaining as well as informative. The girls had a blast and we instantly signed up for another class right after our first.

She made me believe I could paint and I did! She is clear and so patient ! I highly recommend this class !

Paint the town rad was an amazing experience. There was a mix of “first timers” and frequent painters in the class. Everyone made me feel like part of the group and it was so much fun! Kate is hilarious, tentative and an expert teacher. To my surprise I picked one of the harder paintings to start with, and to my surprise (and my personal lack of art skills) my painting came out beautifully. I look forward to joining more classes, supporting paint the town rad, their heartwarming community efforts, modernized Bob Ross feel as well as sharing this with all of my connections and friends! 10/10 for experience, laughs and feeling less isolated during these unprecedented times! Thank you so much Kate, for all that you are doing for others and your community! You should be so proud!

I've done two Zoom classes now. Kate is such a funny, helpful teacher! She works really hard to make it a fun, warm, and unified experience, which is hard with a pandemic. I hope to do another one soon.

Kate (“Ham”) is such an encouraging teacher. Each class I’ve attended has been positive and uplifting. She makes all her paintings very easy to follow along with!

Kate is an excellent teacher! I have no artistic abilities but somehow she makes me think I do! How she explains all of the techniques and why we are using them brings everything together. I've been taking PTTR classes since day one and I'm more obsessed now than ever! Kate is amazing!

Kate is encouraging and amazing at helping me fix my painting mistakes. The zoom aspect lets me paint at home. I have met new people. I just booked a private party for an organization I am part of. Kate created a custom painting specifically for our event. She is an amazing artist and a solid teacher.
