About Gerald
My name is Dr. Bahamonde and I am a board certified nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and experience in teaching pharmacology, biology, nutrition, and family nurse practitioner courses. I have 20 years of teaching experience, including classroom, one-on-one, and volunteer settings. I have a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Nova Southeastern University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Central Florida. I also have certifications in pharmacology, family nurse practitioner, and advanced pharmacology.
have taught a variety of students, ranging from high school students to adult learners. My approach to tutoring is to focus on the individual needs of the student and to create a tailored program to meet their goals. I provide personalized instruction, support and guidance to my students, focusing on their strengths and weaknesses, and helping them to develop the necessary skills to excel in their coursework. I also focus on helping students understand the material by breaking it down into easily manageable pieces and providing practice questions to improve their understanding.
I have a proven track record of helping students improve their scores on the SAT, ACCN, and NCLEX exams with majority attaining their targets. In addition, I have extensive experience in preparing students for clinical rotations and helping them to understand clinical practice. I am an outstanding tutor for the selected subjects because of my extensive knowledge, experience, and background in nursing and my ability to tailor my instruction to the individual needs of the student.
