About Kaitlin
Hello! My name is Kaitlin Richerson and I’m excited to offer tutoring in math and science for middle school students. As a college student with a strong background in STEM, I not only help students grasp the material but also teach them how they learn best. I believe that every student has a unique way of understanding concepts, and my goal is to make learning both accessible and engaging.
I have years of experience working with students of all learning styles, including those with special needs. I’m patient, supportive, and a strong believer in visual learning—so I love using diagrams, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make tough topics easier to understand.
Beyond just getting the right answers, I focus on building confidence and problem-solving skills, helping students feel comfortable tackling new challenges. I’m a people person, so I strive to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel heard and valued.
I offer tutoring on Thursdays and Weekends, and I’d love the opportunity to work with you. If you’re looking for a tutor who understands both the subject matter and the student, I’d be a great fit!
