About Krystal
I have been teaching for 6 years now in the Irvington school district. I started off as a substitute while still attending Montclair State University. My passion for teaching caused me to go after my teaching certificate with my primary subject math. I scored a 199 on my math praxis exam (the exam for prospective teacher to apply for a certificate in teaching, a perfect score is a 200). Being a part of a child's journey to erudition is the best part of being a teacher. Seeing a child come in the classroom and watch them grow in knowledge topic by topic gives me fulfillment and the satisfaction they get from learning that fills them and all involved with a great sense of pride.

Pin point where they need help. See the kind of work they are given through homework etc. Then try to model lessons to suit the child specifically as well as stay on course with the ways in which the teacher teaches. Therefore the child can be able to keep up with their school teacher going forward. I find that sometimes a child gets left behind because of the teaching style or method being used in the classroom.
