About Uzma
I am a certified, life, health, yoga and meditation instructor.
I specialize in helping stat at home moms over 40 reduce stress as their family grows, one step at a time. Stress builds up for mothers as they start losing control, being less needed and alone. I help mothers reinvent themselves through yoga and support.

I enjoy helping mothers become confident and empowered. As mothers we wear many hats. We go to all the games, performances and lessons. We give 110% energy to our kids. When our children get older we slowly become lost and lonely because we are not needed as much. Our identity as a mother slowly disappears and we wonder who we are. I love to help women reinvent themselves abs know that it’s ok and it is the beginning of a wonderful journey.
I have always been connected to psychology and a students of yoga. I wanted to combine my knowledge of my experience of a mother with my passion fir yoga.
I believe being a mother is not all about giving to others, but giving to yourself, so you can be their for the ones you love. If you rejuvenate and feel full, you can give back much more to others.

Talk to the teacher and see if you connect. Make sure you explain exactly what you want in a teacher to help you with your personal growth. Ask questions. Dont look at how long they have been teaching. It’s the connection that matters.
Having a coach/ teacher is very important fir self-growth. Many of us tend to think we can take care of our problems in our own. With a coach, you get faster results and more of a benefit in the long run. On your own, it’s just a vicious cycle of trying and trying.
I recently taught a group of women who had never taken yoga. Each class, they began to feel the difference and leave with smiles and a sense of presence. These mothers realized how amazing self-care was and this class was an awaited time each week. It’s nice to see the growth of my students.

i teach a slow flow and gentle Strength Yoga.
What are the differences between private and group lessons?
Group lessons are focused on the flow and a theme.
. In private lessons you get a one on one teaching. We focus on posture, life, flexibility and relaxation, all at the students own pace. Each class is Unique a s focuses on what the student wants.
