About Shak
My main goal with sessions is to provide a personalised and effective environment for each student. I'll use our initial lesson to assess my students' strengths and weaknesses through simple discussion in order to structure a long-term plan of how to build upon my students' knowledge. These plans are meant to work simultaneously with exam board specifications and requirements so that my students excel not just in content but in the actual exam!
Lessons will typically run an hour, in which we will target any weak areas in subject knowledge to ensure thorough understanding before applying it to exam questions or content questions. My lessons for psychology and economics are intended for A-level students whilst English is applicable to both SATs, GCSE, and A-level students. My LNAT sessions are intended for anyone interested in completing both the essay and MCQ sections.
The first half is dedicated to content learning and revision. For subjects like English and psychology, this may involve analysing sample exam questions or crafting essay plans. This approach not only reinforces knowledge but also familiarises students with the exam format.
The second half of our sessions is devoted to actively applying the concepts we've covered through honing writing, structuring, and argument building. In this way, I aim to get students to understand how the exam works from the get-go, so the pressure in the exam hall feels much less than it should be!

Hi there! I'm Shakhram, a hard-working and driven student and tutor who studied English literature and language, economics, and psychology and am now seeking a degree in Law (LLB) this year in London.
I understand first-hand how challenging exams and school can be especially as someone who isn't naturally gifted academically, however having seen rapid progress in myself and previous students I see that despite the challenging terrain of exams, they can be overcome by staying determined and passionate.
I've applied this formula to myself during A-levels and university preparation having progressed from my first exam results of CDE in the beginning of year 12 to a predicted end of year result of A*AA. Similarly, I went from an LNAT score of 15/42 to 29/42 - 8 points above the cohort average. This goes to show that regardless of starting position, by surrounding yourself with the right people who encourage growth and teach essential skills anyone can achieve.
Aside from academics, I push my body with running, boxing, and strength training, express myself through writing, and enjoy going out with my friends. If any of these resonate with you feel free to say Hi.

Shak has been an excellent tutor that keeps sessions engaging ,productive and provides useful examples for harder topics.
Shakhram helped my grade in Psychology to go from a D to a B in a very short space of time, only a few weeks. My only regret is that I didn’t find him earlier to get my grade up even higher.
Really helpful tutor who makes things easy to understand and has genuinely improved my confidence in the subject. Easy to talk to and really friendly.
Shakhram tutored my son in English and I cant recommend him enough. My son jumped up 2 grades and felt his confidence increased after sessions with shakhram. His teaching methods are highly valuable and his experience is top draw. Highly recommend!!
