Regarding the children karate classes, we speak with the parents to have an idea what is it that they would want to see strenghten in their child/children. We assure them that we are commited to every child. Our objective is to reinforce core values, discipline, self-control, and attentivness. Giving a child the sense of empowerment is essential in not being bullied and not falling prey when it comes to peer-pressure.
In regards to our Adult Karate Its very important to make sure the student feels comfortable in being able to express what their goal is, being gaining weight in muscle or losing weight and toning.
After we grasp what the students expectations are we design a plan taylored to the student.

Woodhaven martial arts is more than just another martial arts school it's a family. They helping every student become a future leader.
My boys attend Ninjitsu and Judo classes. I love this Martial Arts school, the staff is very attentive and I must say since the boys have been going, I’ve seen their confidence gone up as well as their academics. We also quite appeased that Sensei Aviles along with the other instructors teach this art with much knowledge and passion.
Great principles, excellent training, can be applied to many situations. I highly recommend Woodhaven Martial Arts
