About Chiara
Hello everyone my name is Chiara, and I’m deeply and fully in love with my country Italy and its incredible and massive culinary tradition.
I’m here because i wanna share with all of you my passion, and teach you not only all the traditional recipes that everyone loves and well knows, but even some tricks and recipes that you can use not only in a special occasion, but in every single day, even if you are in a hurry.
Because Italian cousins, is before everything a lifestyle, a way of enjoy life, a cuddle, a moment for yourself and your beloved, even when we don’t have time, sitting on a table with your family, friends, significant one, that’s what will made your day, because, cooking, is an act of love.
Mediterranean diet is well known to be the wright choice. Is a perfect balance of all the nutrients. Italian cuisine has is it all: is a fast and refreshing meal, is an healthy choice if you have pathologies, is a moment to share with friends and family. Is tradition and memories, is comfort food, is a warm place to be. Could be tasty and at the same time light and safe or could be full of carbs that all we love. But, remember, always made with the correct ingredients and products that are making the difference.
Italian cooking is first of all respect. Respect for yourself, for the quality of the ingredients and the their seasonality. We’re taking care of what the earth gives us, we’re taking care of our ingredients and pay a tribute to them cooking in the most beautiful way possible.
As you know, as Italian, food and cooking is naturally running into our blood.
But I’ve a special bond with it. I’m taking few lines to tell you guys where the story begins. I lost my grandma Enrichetta when i was a teen, she was my everything: she was my loyal companion in all my adventures and my safe place. But first of all she was the heart of the kitchen. I will always remember her with her apron, like she hasn’t other clothes. Taking care of all of us. Was my grandma who tech me how to create, love and respect all the wealth the earth gives us, and how to continue our cooking legacy. Like her mother and her mother before. I can see her, cover in flour and always smiling and be patient with me and my youthful impatience. She let me enter in her world, guiding me and teaching me many lessons that i’ll never forget.
When she passed away, was like loosing a part of myself, but everyday, wearing an apron, like she always did, and taking care of all the person of my life and of all the ingredients i’m grateful to have is a way to stay in touch with her.
I will tech you all the secret and the recipes she gave to me.
