About Makayla
Hi there! My name is Makayla or Mak for short :) I am from Denver, Colorado, and have been playing guitar since I was a freshman in high school. I always had such a huge passion for the arts (especially music) for as long as I can remember. I have attended and taught lessons at School of Rock back home in Colorado and have gigged all around Colorado, New Mexico, Massachusetts, and New York. I have played at venues such as Red Rocks, Brighton Music Hall, The Bowery Ballroom, etc. I am also currently studying songwriting at Berklee College of Music! I love sharing my passion and seeing all kinds of musicians grow and become more comfortable not only within their musicianship, but also within themselves.
