My typical process is to first learn about the student: other hobbies, any physical ailments, goals and how much time they have to committ. Then I watch the student putt, chip/pitch, and make some full swings. From there we work on a game plan to get better.
Mostly people that shoot between 85 and 100.
Many students are addicted to fixing their swing when they can save many strokes on and around the green. Don't shy away from working on your short game.
Helping my wife play better golf.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What physical limitations do I have? ie bad knee, bad back, lack of flexibility.
2. How much time can I committ to improving?
3. Do I want a quick fix or do I want to make a big change?
