About Brandan

The small town of Linden, Michigan is where my story begins. My journey to play professional football started as a member of the Byron Eagles when I was just five years of age. By the time I reached junior high I began playing for the Linden Eagles. I continued to play for the Linden Eagles through my senior year of high school. Following graduation in 2009, I received a scholarship from Grand Valley State University. While attending Grand Valley, I had the pleasure of playing under Chuck Martin (2009) and Matt Mitchell (2010-2013). During my senior season I led the country in every division for yards per catch at 23.7. I was nominated Captain and received the award of Most Valuable Player. At the conclusion of the 2013 season I entered the 2014 NFL draft and was picked up as a free agent by the New Orleans Saints. Following the 2014 NFL preseason, I was released and picked up by the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League where I played for two years. After 20 years of playing football, I chose to retire at the conclusion of a single season with the Orlando Predators.

Have been teaching and mentoring athletes since I was a senior in high school.

21 years of playing experience.

4 years of collegiate experience.

3 years of professional experience in the NFL, CFL, and AFL.

Assessment of the athlete and where they are vs where they would like to get.

Set up a training plan that will achieve maximum results for where the athlete is looking to get.

Begin training on position specific drills as well as general athlete advancement techniques.

I have worked with students of all ages ranging from little league to collegiate athletes.

Find a coach that has been there. A coach that has experience in the positions you are looking to be in. Knowledge is power and if a coach has no experience they will be unable to teach you and your athletes on the proper skills and techniques of the positions.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Where am I now from an athletic standpoint and where would I like to be?

What are my weaknesses as an athlete and what are my strengths?

Am I willing to do whatever it takes to achieve the results I am seeking?

Am I passionate about the game itself, understanding 80% of the time your efforts will go unnoticed?
