About Alexis
Hello everyone! My name is Alexis and I’m here if you are looking for beginner to intermediate level flute lessons. Ever since I was in elementary school, I had a passion for playing instruments, including the piano, guitar, and flute. This would be my 7th year playing the flute, my speciality:). It's definitely my favorite learning experience because of how gentle it sounds and the majestic it seems to have to it. I'm happy to teach you guys where to start and how to improve down the line:)!
I never thought i was one for teaching, but I relaized that when it comes to things that I love, I have no problem connecting and expanding my knowledge.
I am a college student with 6 complete years of flute training.

Getting to know them as a person and not immediately jumping into the lesson because teaching is not a universal action. It is specific to each individual.
I typically work with students in their first year of playing the flute. They tend to feel lost which is not an unfamiliar feeling to me when I was starting out myself.
When you are looking to hire a teacher, comfortabllity should be your first priority. It is not easy to working with teachers who are not able to look past the fact that they are teaching a lesson to address the students concerns and possible anxiousness. This is a judge-free zone:).
