About Laura

I have a supportive and kind approach to tutoring and supporting the learning of others. Through my masters degree in education, I developed deep expertise in how to support the learning of students and help them succeed in whatever topic they are having trouble with. I understand that each indivdual has a unique learning style so I work to break things down so they can be understandable to different learning styles.

I love working with students. I am deeply passionate about teaching and supporting the growth of others.

I have taught many different topics- I started working as a swim instructor in my teen years and later went on to become a yoga teacher, art teacher, mindfulness teacher, and then began working in schools teaching. I have a deep passion for teaching, regardless of the topic.

I have a master's degree in Education and Social Justice from University College London and a bachelor' degree in Peace and Justice Studies and Arabic from Tufts University. I have taught in both primary and secondary schools and I have 10+ years of experience working with youth.
