About Kelly

All my life I have had an unquenchable thirst for learning and excelling and one of the things that has help me be successful is being able to teach others what I have learned. I was a volunteer tutor in high school my senior year to help in any subjects. Now I have a BA in Sociology and a minor in Chemistry. I have a passion for writing and literature as well. I have not tutored on a formal platform before but I will work hard to understand your needs and customize our sessions so that you will gain the maximum out of your time.

Some of my favorite learning experiences involve having a peer teaching me one-on-one or have me be in the role of tutor. I have come to value that time over any classroom setting.

I hope to be able to share my passions with you and help you reach your goals as well as encourage you to reach even higher!

I really love that feeling of accomplishment from both myself and the student. It makes me feel good knowing that the student has achieved their goals or at least taken a huge step in the right direction. Making a connection and being able to help in any way I can is a reward in and of itself.

I have a BA in Sociology and a minor in Chemistry.

I have taken several creative writing and literature classes.

As a senior in high school, I was a volunteer tutor during my lunch hours.

I would like to be able to get to know a little bit about you (new student) so that we won't seem like complete strangers. Then I would like to know your specific goals for our time together so that I know what exactly you want to achieve at the end of our time together. I would also like to know what kind of learner you are-audio, visual, kinesthetic or mixure-so that I can tailor my teaching style to fit your learning needs.
