About Victoria

I am an alumni of the University of California, San Diego. I have 5+ years of one on one tutoring experience. During my time at UCSD, I was a tutor for the Culture, Art, and Technology Writing Studio, and I specialized in aiding students with essay writing, creative writing, and grammar. From then on, I spent time as an online tutor for Chegg where I helped students with English Literature, Classic Literature, AP English, and essay proofreading. I have also conducted live one on one lessons via WyzAnt, where I met with students in public areas to help with their English needs. I do NOT condone cheating, but I will be more than happy to sit down and help you with any and all English assignments! I believe critical reading and writing are both underrated tools in education, and that everyone should develop the acumen for it to be successful members of society.

I like to get a summary of their issues firsthand before diving into a lesson plan. By getting to know the student, I can formulate a plan that is tailored to their personal strengths, and weaknesses. At the end of the day, students are people first.
