About Jordan

I am deeply passionate about helping those who struggle to learn. My mission is to create a community of learning and growth, where all students can reach their potential. I strive to not only teach but also to enable students to pursue their own passions.

Education: Bachelor's in English, George Fox University

Certification: Teaching English as a Foreign Language

Experience: 3 years

I love to work with students in helping them understand the material, and cultivating a passion within them for whatever subject piques their interest. I especially enjoy the look on a student's face when they finally understand a difficult problem and praising them when they have tried hard.

I have a Bachelor's degree in English from George Fox University and a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from The Council on International Educational Exchange.

Do not be afraid to be picky with your tutor or teacher. If you feel as though you are not learning well with your tutor, first talk to them to see if the issue can be reolved, and if nothing works, continue your search. The right teacher is out there and would love to help you.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are your academic goals?

Why are you seeking a tutor/teacher?

How much time do you have to dedicate to your learning?

What is it that your struggle most with?

How do you learn best?
