About Sam
Hello! I'm Sam, a political science and finance student at the University of Notre Dame. In over 7 years of tutoring, I've worked with hundreds of students in AP US, World, and European history. For as long as I can remember, I've been passionate about history, and I relish the opportunity to help a student love it as I do.
My students' AP scores and class grades are consistently the best on SuperProf, and giving students the gold standard of support is my main priority.

Sam does a great job explaining difficult concepts, in part due to the way he presents information, but also largely due to his high level of expertise. I am studying for AP exams right now, and he is super understanding and able to clarify any last minute questions or hesitancies I might have. I definitely recommend trying a lesson with him!

Sam Marchand was an extremely good communicator and had very well thought out study plans for me. He successfully got me from a starting score of 1440 to an ending score of 1580. I would, without hesitation, work with him again.
