About Dalise

I am a certified English, Language Arts and Reading Teacher as well as English as a Second Language. I have won several awards for my writing and am currently working on my first fiction novel. I have a passion for students and expression through the written word. Let me help you achieve your goals!

I love that Aha! moment when a student finally grasps something. There's no greater moment for a teacher. I am passionate about investing in students.

I went on a mission trip where I had the opportunity to teach English to Yemeni immigrants. I fell in love with the profession and have been working toward becoming a full-time teacher ever since.

I have worked as a substitute teacher as well as with the children's ministry at my church. I have my Bachelor's degree and am certified to teach English, Language Arts and Reading as well as English as a Second Language.

I first like to ask questions. I want to get to know the student and understand what goals they're working toward. I will then come up with a plan tailored to that individual student's needs.

Find a teacher that not only knows what they're teaching, but also genuinely cares about you and your success. That teacher will be much more invested in helping you meet your goals.
