We have had an amazing experience with my daughter’s private art lessons. Since she started working with him, her artistic ability has grown tremendously, not just in technique, but also in confidence and creativity. It’s been incredible to watch her progress and see the level of detail and skill she’s developed.
He is patient, encouraging, and does an excellent job of challenging her while making each lesson enjoyable. She genuinely looks forward to her sessions, and it’s obvious how much she has learned under his guidance.

Wade Goyens, a Storyboarding Wizard and beyond!
What great words can't be said about Wade!? A combination of Talent, Skill, Affordability and Flexibility always describes the best attributes we seek in an instructor of any field. Wade's got them all.
Within only a year, working with Wade Goyens not only improved my knowledge and abilities (Storyboarding, Character design, Storytelling, Perspective, etc.) in the animation industry but, simultaneously sculpted a personal project of mine from a dream to a reality. Outside of the classroom, he'll go above and beyond by sending inspirational content to keep me motivated through my struggles of day to day life. It's a class I look forward to every week to both learn AND unwind!
The only downside I can mention: His generous 2-3 hour sessions are not long enough! After our lessons are complete, I can go on chit chatting with him for days because you see, Wade Goyens is NOT just your mentor. He's also your friend!

Wade made the learning experience personalized to my goals and interests. In addition to posting detailed instructional materials and resources, he often would send relevant links that inspired me creatively. He is knowledgeable, engaging, responsive, and flexible. I enjoyed our classes tremendously!

Where I have a hard time understanding and getting things down in my head. Wade has been very patient and very compassionate in his teaching methods. He has truly been helpful and once i have learned the methods I’ve been easily able to pick them up in frames and storytelling cues. I am currently still learning from him and will continue to do so. With him I truly think I can pick up a career in storyboarding even though I’ve never went to school for storyboarding/art. I truly feel it is possible.

He has sat down and taught me via Skype the importance of tracing and creating points of actions. He has also instructed me to shape parts of bodies and objects in 3D form.

Through our talks I can tell that Wade would make for a great instructor and hope to see him become one.
