About Rashad

My name is Rashad James, I am a 10 year professional basketball player and counting. I have played 7 seasons overseas and 3 seasons in the NBA G-League, formally known as the NBA D-League. Most recently, I played for Team USA in the Americup Games where we went 2-0 to qualify Team USA for the Olympics. I am passionate with passing on my knowledge of the game to anyone looking to become a better basketball player on and off the court.

Some insight about myself: Played for Iona college (D1) before transferring to Northwood Univeristy (D2) to finish out my senior year, now known as Keiser University. I was awarded NAIA player of the year my senior year. I graduated from Iona college with a BA in Criminal Justice.

In 2014, I won the NBA Summer League with the Sacramento Kings where I played a pivotal roll in achieving that goal. I later played with the Portland Trail Blazers and Milwaukee Bucks the following two summers where I averaged 14 points in 20 minutes off the bench.

My purpose of training kids or anyone who wants to develop is to show them that they don't need to attend a big named school in order to be successful in this sport. All it takes is consistent hard work and understanding what you bring to the table as a player/teammate.

I am currently an 8 year professional basketball player. I have played in the NBA G-League, NBA Summer League, Eurocup, Champions League and A1 leagues in Croatia, Turkey, South Korea, & Germany. My team won the Croatian National Championship in 2017 and I was the 2016 Preseason Croatian Cup MVP.

I like to get to know someone as a person first then player. It's important to start with the basics and implement key fundamentals of the game such as ball handling, passing, layups, and a variety of shooting drills (catch and shoot, one dribble pull ups, etc.)
