About Steve

The Preeminent Shooting Coach in the US. We guarantee DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT in shooting accuracy or your money back. We have expanded & redefined the rules of shooting. See video proof at (concealed information) Remote training only.

How many times have you heard the same old limited rules of shooting that never helps you improve? Everyone tells you to, "Keep your elbow in; put rotation on the ball; and follow through". Is that working for you?

How many times have you been told, "Just get in the gym and work on your shot". Practicing flawed shooting mechanics only locks in the same old defective shooting techniques. The ugliest shot in the world will go in—but will that shot go in consistently—I think not!

Control and Efficient Motion is the key to increasing Accuracy. We have the proof—and we guarantee that ANYONE can DRAMATICALLY IMPROVE their ability to make shots using "The Accurate Controlled & Efficient Shooting Method®" (ACES). For every problem there is a solution, and ACES is the answer!

It may be difficult to believe that dramatic improvement in shooting a basketball is even possible. Typically, innovation is not readily embraced because it is so different, so uncommon, so rare. Change is uncomfortable. Learning something new is challenging. And fear of the unknown is commonplace. But if you are willing to come out of your comfort zone, you can learn to become a Master of the Jump Shot.

For every skill there is poor technique, average technique and superior technique—ACES is simply the best shooting instruction and technique you will ever encounter.

VIDEO CASE STUDIES at TheShotGuru.com SHOW DRAMATIC IMPROVEMENT

See actual videos of one our H.S. player go from:

• Making 2 Free Throws in a row to 31 straight Free Throws;

• Also made 14 College 3-Point shots in a row

See another one of our H.S. player go from:

1 of 10 Three-Point shots made, to

9 of 10 Three-Point shots made (including 8 in a row)

My players improve to be not just twice as good (2x), but 14x, 18x better–that's dramatic. All of my players develop a confident mindset that Expects to Make Every Shot.

Basketball players are gifted with a particular degree of (talent) hand-eye coordination. For decades, most players develop the skill to shoot using a very limited set of rules in technique. Through The ACES Method®, we have:

• Expanded and redefined the rules for shooting with "The 25 Basic Principles for Mastering the Jump Shot©"

• Exclusively developed "The 7 Essential Keys for Controlling the Shot©";

• Created a Compact and Effortless Shooting Stroke;

• Produced mechanics that executes a Quicker Release of the Shot;

For every skill there is poor technique, average technique and superior technique—ACES is simply the best shooting instruction and technique you will ever encounter.

LEARN MORE ABOUT SHOOTING THAN YOU EVER IMAGINED

I guarantee dramatic improvement of your jump shot and free throw shooting, or your money back!

A basketball career is ultimately measured by one’s ability to make shots. Increase your value. Enjoy the game with the supreme confidence to make shots because you have Control!

Remote Training Facility Requirements:
1. An outdoor basketball court;
2. Mobile camera phone with WiFi or 5G Internet;
3. Zoom video app (free from The App Store or Google Play);
Additional Facilities Preferred:
4. A Camera Tripod;
5. A Bluetooth external speaker with microphone or a Bluetooth headset with microphone

1. We begin with an assessment of your original shot as you will shoot 10 Free Throws and 3-Pt shots (20 total).  We video record your original mechanics and the results as a benchmark to document your progress (Before and After ACES).

2.  As training begins, I step you through the fundamentals of "The ACE Shooting Method®", that includes:
      - The 25 Basic Principles for Mastering the Jump Shot
      - The 7 Essential Keys for Controlling the Jump Shot

3.  I teach a very detailed method.  We start from the bottom and work our way up.  Starting with the base, I guide you through various positions and techniques used in "The ACES Method" that impact the feet, legs, hips, back, shoulders, arms, hands, shot pocket, shooting motion, release, body synchronization, follow through, etc.

4.  Next, we begin to apply these new mechanics with repetitions of shooting from designated positions on the court. Modifications and corrections usually take place at this time, but repetitions are crucial when learning something new. How quickly one adopts and locks in the ACES Stroke depends entirely upon the individual.

5.  At some point in the first lesson you should be able to demonstrate how to make shots with your eyes closed using ACES.
