About Cyrus

I have over 15 years of basketball experience. I have played and started at the college level at University of Iowa. I have also played professionally at the international level in countries such as Israel Turkey,Germany, and Japan. My plan is to take a hands on approach to being efficient on the basketball court, positioning by understanding timing and angles as well as defensive tactics for players who play the post position as well as power forward. Learn from someone who understands the game has a proven track record at playing at a high level and a person who has been coached by well known Hall of Fame level coaches.

I enjoy the development part. Taking the things they learn and applying it to the basketball court.

I started internationally doing basketball clinics in various countries

I've spent over 15 years playing professional basketball at a high level

First going over the fundamentals of each thing we are working on that's extremely important on getting a idea of what level they are at and how I should work with them

I work mostly with people that play the post or forward positions

Find someone with a solid background that understands the game of basketball. It's not just only skill work it's understanding spacing and the proper action when a reaction occurs. It's a game of pace, a game of understanding angles and setting up your opponent. It's extremely important to understand who you are as a player and be the best version of that while adding to your game.

I really enjoy going to the Matteson kids leagues. I really like how developed  their games are at their age. That's means it's a lot to look forward to from young kids in the future

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Are you serious about playing basketball?

are you willing to put the work in that's required to be a good basketball player?
